Saturday morning I loaded the Twinners into the Pacifica for a trip home. First stop, Dad's house, next Brett's house, then we were on our way to the Oakdale Country Club for lunch with the Melberg crew. My uncle Loren had surgery, so two of his son's were home from out of state. We took up the porch at Oakdale and then headed across the road for pie at Jan and Sheldon's. Unfortunately, it was too cold and rainy to enjoy their beautiful yard and lake. We visited Loren in the hospital at Hutch before cruising back to the metro. We continue to pray for his recovery and positive test results.
It was a busy and enjoyable day, including positive Dad and Brother time on the trip to and fro. While we were away, Mark got some uninterrupted project time at the house.
The kids got plenty of play time.
